Certify yourself as an Open water Diver in Athens, Greece and dive all over the world!
The Open Water Diver course is the first level of diving certifications. Once certified, you can dive safely to a maximum depth of 18 meters!
Requirements:
- At least 10 years old.
- Overall good health.
The course includes:
- Theory lessons, about 5 hours in total, conducted over 2 to 3 days. Your instructor will inform you on the use of basic scuba equipment (including mask, fins, snorkel, regulator, tank, wetsuit and buoyancy control device), some elementary physics related to diving, as well as basic medical considerations
- 9 dives, from an initial depth of 1.5 meters (about 4 feet) up to a maximum of 18 meters (59 feet). In these dives you will obtain diving skills, familiarize yourself with diving equipment, fine-tune your buoyancy and enjoy the underwater world.
The course lasts at least 4 days.
